17 Concerts at Oyster Bay Music Festival 2014

This was the third OBMF, and it was better than ever. I made new friends and performed everywhere in Oyster Bay, Long Island –17 times in nine days.

I am a Lang Lang Young Scholar!

I was selected as one of the Lang Lang International Foundation’s five new Young Scholars representing the United States for the next few years.

Performing on NPR’s From The Top!

I had probably up to date the most incredible experience a few weeks ago! I was invited to perform on NPR’s From The Top, the most amazing classical music show on radio!

You know how much I want my friends and other kids my age to love classical music. Well last spring I started working on a video series with an amazing ventriloquist, Jonathan Geffner, and Rachel Shelton, a former student of my mom.

I just turned 11 last weekend and had the best celebration by performing the Borodin Piano Quintet with the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players in NYC.

My First Solo Recital in Canada!

One of the the most wonderful things that happened in the summer was that I played a solo recital in Canada. I also got to go to Niagara Falls where my parents and I went on the Journey Behind the Falls.

I just came back from a trip to Yerevan, Armenia, where I had the opportunity to play Khachaturian’s trio for piano, clarinet and violin. I was even asked to appear on two Armenian TV shows!

An exciting adventure was a visit to Yale University, where I had the opportunity to meet and play for the Dean of Music!

My First Experience Playing the Celeste!

I played the celeste part in Charles Griffes’ The Kairn of Koridwen, which is scored for piano, harp, celeste, two horns, two clarinets, and a flute.

The Day I Met James Cohn

I met an 85 year old composer named James Cohn, and he offered to send me any of his piano compositions that I wanted to play.

I turned 10 years old, I ate lunch at the most amazing French restaurant and I played chamber music on the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players series in Manhattan.

My Trip to Italy!

In July I spent two fantastic weeks in Perugia, Italy at the Corsi Internazionali di Musica. I attended daily master classes, rehearsed chamber music, and played in several concerts.
