If you read my blog from last summer, you know how much I loved the Oyster Bay Music Festival. Well, it is hard to believe, but this summer was even better! For eight days my fellow students (including some of my best friends) and I performed all over downtown Oyster Bay. We played concerts at the Oyster Bay Historical Society, Raynham Hall Museum, Christ Church (my favorite acoustics), Gulden’s Bakery, in front of 20th Century Cycles during Cruise Night (Steinway & Sons donated a grand piano!), and get this –we even played a concert at the BMW Dealership of Oyster Bay (with another Steinway grand). I played quite a bit of solo music and also learned a LOT of new chamber music.
