I had an amazing adventure traveling to Moscow, Russia, for TV Kultura’s 16th International “Nutcracker” Competition for Young Musicians! This was my first time ever seeing Moscow (or being in Russia), and the sights were unbelievable –especially the Red Square. It was great fun performing in the television format of the competition.

We had great fun performing Fazil Say’s jazzy arrangement of Mozart ‘s Rondo Alla Turca on the radio. I also played some solo Prokofiev and did a short interview with the host. I listen to WQXR almost every day of my life, so it felt really amazing being at the WQXR Greene Space for a live broadcast!

I just spent two weeks at the most amazing music festival in Italy called Music Fest Perugia. One of the highlights was performing in a special “Prodigy Concert” with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Alicante at the famed Basilica di San Pietro.
