I was thrilled to receive the Gilmore Young Artist Award, presented every two years to single out the most promising of the new generation of U.S.-based pianists, age 22 and younger! It is especially exciting because nominations are made by music professionals from around the world, and an anonymous selection committee evaluates the nominees over a period of time. In other words, I had no idea that I was even under consideration! I am looking forward to a series of concerts this season at the Gilmore Keyboard Festival, and to being a part of this prestigious musical organization.
